SMS Notification Settings

Step 1: Access Your Account Settings

Log into your Oweya account and navigate to Account Settings. You can find this in the top-right menu of the app.

Step 2: Toggle SMS Notifications On or Off

On the Account Settings page, you'll find an SMS notifications checkbox. Toggle this on to receive SMS updates, or toggle off to stop receiving messages.

When SMS is enabled: You'll receive text messages about ride activity in your networks. Check the box to opt in.

Step 3: Disable SMS (Opt-Out)

If you want to stop receiving SMS messages, simply uncheck the SMS notifications checkbox and click "Save changes."

When SMS is disabled: You will not receive any SMS messages from Oweya. You can re-enable SMS notifications anytime by checking this box again.

Other Ways to Opt Out

In addition to toggling SMS in your account settings, you can opt out of SMS messages using these methods:

• Reply STOP to any Oweya SMS message — you'll receive one final confirmation text
• Email support at support@oweya.us with your opt-out request

After opting out using any method, you will receive one final confirmation message. You will not receive further marketing or notification texts unless you opt back in.

Changes Take Effect Immediately

When you toggle SMS notifications on or off and click "Save changes," your preference is updated immediately. You'll see a confirmation message on the page.
